Fort Saskatchewan Food Bank has significant news to share! On April 13, 2022 our Executive Director, Kassandra Gartner and Board members were honored to host Minister Orr, Ministry of Culture and Status of Women and MLA Jackie Armstrong-Homeniuk, to announce that our organization was a recipient of the Government of Alberta 2021 Community Facility Enhancement Program (CFEP). Our application, submitted on behalf of the Society’s New Building Project, and matching funds already raised, was awarded $690,550.
We are grateful for the support of the provincial government, the contribution to the purchase of the forever home for the Fort Saskatchewan Food Bank and their recognition of the essential service that Food Banks deliver.

The Fort Saskatchewan Food Gatherers Society Board is committed to fiscal responsibility and to serve our community in the best manner possible.
