The provision of empathy, goodwill and food and product charity in a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment free from guilt or embarrassment is key to the formula of any successful food bank.

…but here, deep within Alberta’s Industrial Heartland, we, by our very nature, recognize the need to dig deeper and measure success not through pounds of food distributed, but by lives changed for the better.

The best recipe for success is both instant and enduring in the feeding of body, mind and soul through the giving of such kind and compassionate charitable acts as:

Monetary Donations

The Fort Saskatchewan Food Bank is not a government funded entity, and as such, relies entirely on donations from the public and professional sectors to run its daily operations.

Cash Donations can be made either online through the CanadaHelps website, or our secure online donation form, in person at the Food Bank during operating hours, or by mail. You can also donate your bottles and cans offered by the free pickup service, Skip the Depot. For contact information, location, and operating hours, please visit our Contact Us page.

Food Donations

Food collection bins are located at local Safeway, Freson Bros., and Co-op stores. Non-perishable staple food items, toiletries and pet food donations may also be made during business hours at the Food Bank. For large food donations, please call to schedule a time for delivery.
