We acknowledge that we gather and work on the traditional territories of Indigenous Peoples. The food we provide comes from the lands and waters of this region, traditional territories that have long sustained Indigenous Peoples. We recognize and honor the stewardship of those who have cared for these lands, waters, and ecosystems for generations.
As we work to nourish our community, we commit to learning from Indigenous knowledge, respecting the rights of the original caretakers, the Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, and Métis Peoples and supporting food sovereignty for all. May our work reflect gratitude and responsibility toward the land, water, and those who came before us.
