Here’s Something to Chew On

Life can bite any one of us in the rear end. But that vulnerability doesn’t make us any less of a person…it makes us more human — and more deserving of a little humanity from caring people like you. While we are not currently accepting new individual volunteers, we welcome you to fill out the application below to join our pending list. We’ll connect with you when opportunities arise. Group volunteering is still available, please email us to schedule a time.

Come together to build meaningful relationships with clients and donors in person and over the phone, pack hampers, stock shelves, or pick up supplies, and help serve a lasting helping of happiness to the people of Fort Saskatchewan.

 

Christmas Volunteering

If you’d like to make a difference over the holidays, join us to deliver Christmas Food and Toy hampers on December 21, from 9 AM to 12 PM. Volunteers must have a large vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance. Simply show up on the day, and we’ll gather your information.

If you are looking to schedule a time for your corporate group to come volunteer over the holiday season, we encourage you to act quickly as our holiday schedule books up fast! Email us to schedule a time!

The Fort Saskatchewan Food Gatherers Society is a registered charity which operates the Fort Saskatchewan Food Bank, Christmas Hamper Campaign, School Snack Program, and various other essential programs and services from the Fort Saskatchewan Nourishment Centre in order to serve a little hope and happiness to the people of Fort Saskatchewan in various times of need.
